I dwell in the luscious temperate rainforests of the Pacific Northwest. Portland, Oregon is where I call home. Growing up with comic books, J.R.R. Tolkein, and my mother's massive collection of artist tools and papers of all varieties, I feel relatively confident in saying that the desire to create was almost predestined.

A 2011 graduate of Portland, Oregon's Pacific Northwest College of Art with a degree in illustration and a mind's eye opened wide to the future, I live to create vibrant, stylized depictions of what I see with eyes closed. With endless visions of spirits, sages, terrains familiar yet ethereal, and beings of awe, terror, or hope there is no shortage of inspiration for me to draw from (pun intended).

As a freelance Illustrator and as an artist in general, I am ever striving to push my technical and conceptual skills to the next level. With each new project I undertake, I am willing to embrace the challenge of raising the bar for myself a little bit higher every time. In doing so, I hope to feel satisfied that I have put every ounce of my current ability into an image that captures a vision or idea exactly as I want it to be conveyed. Furthermore, and most importantly, I am always striving to create the most beautiful, well-executed imagery I can in the hopes that it will propel the viewer's mind into another realm of their imagination that they had previously not known existed.
